Window & Door Installer

We are seeking a skilled Window & Door Installer to join our team. As a Window & Door Installer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing windows and doors in residential and commercial buildings. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their satisfaction with the installation process and the final product.

Role Responsibilities:

• Install and repair windows and doors in residential and commercial buildings utilizing various trade methods standard within the industry
• Measure and cut materials to fit the installation area
• Ensure proper fit and function of windows and doors
• Seal and weatherproof installations to prevent leaks and drafts
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Provide superior customer satisfaction through professional and courteous communication and treatment of our customers to ensure their satisfaction with the installation process and final product
• Collaborate with the sales team and project coordinators, provide them with their clients’ scheduled installation dates, client incidents, delays, and other relevant information
• Use designated system applications to manage various aspects of the job (HouseCall, Google Workspace, MacOS)
• Demonstrate a pleasant and professional disposition with each customer and other employees
• Represent Sol-Up and our brand with professionalism, integrity, and passion
• Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of proven experience of full frame and insert window & door installation or remodeling experience
• Knowledge of various types of windows and doors and their installation methods
• Excellent and detail-oriented interior and exterior trim expertise required (e.g. break work, capping, caulking)
• History and passion for high quality workmanship
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, other employees, management, and external contacts.
• Strong time management to ensure timeliness of appointments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history record
• Must have reliable attendance and transportation to the office and in the field, may be asked to occasionally travel to other work site locations to provide training to other team members and complete installation jobs
• Authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to:

• Lift or carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
• Physically access all areas of the office and in the field with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external clients and contacts.
• Ability for prolonged periods of time to sit, walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
• Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• Work in the field at residential and commercial structures, be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, heat, cold, noise, dust, fragrance aromas.

Compensation:

$20 - $30 per hour, based on experience and abilities

Discretionary bonus opportunities, based on performance

Schedule:

Full-time, at least 40 hours per week, flexible to fulfill customer scheduling needs
