Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UX Designer to join our team. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing user-centric interfaces for our network security products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and seamless user experiences that enhance our product offerings and meet the needs of our diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • User Research & Analysis:
    • Understand use cases and expected outcomes for different user personas.
    • Analyze research data to create user personas, journey maps, and usability findings.
    • Translate insights into actionable design recommendations.
  • Design & Prototyping:
    • Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that illustrate user interfaces and experiences.
    • Develop high-fidelity UI designs that are aligned with our brand guidelines and user experience standards.
    • Iterate designs based on feedback from stakeholders and usability testing.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure design feasibility and implementation.
    • Present and defend design solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
    • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Usability Testing:
    • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to gather user feedback and identify areas for improvement.
    • Analyze test results and iterate on designs to enhance usability and user satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
    • Advocate for user-centered design practices and contribute to the evolution of our design processes and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • 10+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in the tech or network security industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with networking and security workflows or similar technical products
    • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
    • Experience with prototyping tools such as InVision, Axure, or similar.
    • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Portfolio:
    • A strong portfolio showcasing your UX design process, user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.

Compensation: Base Salary $170,000 - $200,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Equity
