Washington, DC office.
Job Description: ECS is seeking a Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Healthcare Specialist.This role will designate program implementation staff to implement new projects and/or programs, as identified by senior leadership. Tasks will include release and implementation management, supporting performance outcomes, targets, improved programmatic outcomes, and linkages to programming, budgeting, and evaluations, supporting strategic performance measure development, including improved linkage between VA-wide strategic goals and VA programmatic outcomes. To be successful in this role, the candidate will also need strong customer interaction skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a large, complex organization.
JOB DUTIES.
•Lead, plan, manage, execute in support of the client's mission.
•Monitor performance to ensure project tasks are completed on time, on budget and within scope.
•Track program level risks, issues, scope and timing changes.
•Coordinate with project manager for status report information on a weekly & monthly timeframe.
Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000
Required Skills: - 8years relevant experience working in a complex team-based environment in a consulting-type organization focused on enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Highly organized, systematic, proactive within a fast-paced environment.
- Master's degree in a related field of study.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Project, Teams, a plus
Desired Skills: - Experience with Microsoft Teams and other online platforms conducive to engagement.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
- Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
- Experience using and managing documentation and materials in SharePoint.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
- Ability to interact and engage with Executive-level stakeholders.
- Takes initiative on project tasks that need to be updated or reviewed.
- Has a proactive attitude and works ahead to anticipate needs of client and project.
- Ability to multitask on items throughout the project.
- PMI PMP Certification
