Job Description
T roy Ohio Senior Citizens Center is looking for a Director that will engage with our senior citizen members. Our organization provides fellowship, information, social and leisure activities for our senior members by helping them remain productive by enhancing their quality of life.
The person shall be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude. This position requires administrative duties as well:
Must have computer experience (Word, Excel, etc.)
Basic Accounting especially Quick Books, daily cash transactions and banking
Familiar with social media and able to improve center’s visibility in the community
Will be responsible for planning, organizing programs for the membership
Attend monthly board meetings and present their monthly report
Willing to become involved in the community such as Optimist, Kiwanas, and other organizations
Maintain a relationship with United Way, Miami County Foundation and Troy Foundation, etc.
Responsible for preparing monthly newsletter and getting it mailed to the members.
Handling day-to-day activities, phone calls, correspondence, inventory of supplies, and other duties as needed
Orienting new members
Assisting the President and Board with administrative duties as needed.
